I recently took a ring into Wallaces to have claws replaced and 2 diamonds replaced. I receaved it back and was very happy with quality of work and customer service provided by Nancyone of sales clerks that works there. I had been to the other jewellers in athe area and found these people had the most reasionable price and will be suggesting them to all my friends. I recently had a horrible experience at Wallace Jewelers in Renfrew Ontario. I brought in a diamond ring to be reset. The saleswoman who served me ran between me and the jeweler, who sat in an office, just feet away from the counter where I was standing. The woman showed me a few settings, and was running back and forth, from me to the jeweler, as I sat wondering, \"why won\'t he come over and talk to me?\" After 20 minutes of this, we settled on a setting for the ring, and the price was $300, minus $110 for the original band. I was thrilled to be getting such a deal at roughly $200. When I went back to pick up my ring, I was quoted $400+ and then the discount was added. I was shocked. I paid the price but I will never go back to Wallace\'s again. Lesson learned, get everything in writing!...
